Opex Variance report from Xero / MYOB / SAP / Excel

Report on opex variance (budget − actual) from a Xero / MYOB / SAP / Excel export, tracked month by month against your own target. ReportInSite runs in your browser, so the file is read on your device and nothing is uploaded.

How to export it

Export a budget-vs-actual report to Excel or CSV with one row per cost centre (or team) per month: Xero (Reports → Budget Variance → Export → Excel), MYOB (Budget analysis → Excel), SAP (cost centre report → Spreadsheet). Positive = under budget.

Report
Budget variance by month, operating expenses, by tracking category / cost centre, last 6 months

Then open ReportInSite, go to the Data tab, choose Export from any app, pick Opex variance (budget − actual) and load the file. The recipe fills in the column mapping and the calculation; you can change any of it before importing.
