Dev toolsAzure DevOps sprint review report
Turn an Azure DevOps export into a sprint review: committed against delivered, scope change and velocity, sprint by sprint and team by team. ReportInSite runs in your browser, so the file is read on your device and nothing is uploaded.
How to export it
Boards → Queries → New query → Editor: Query → paste the WIQL (or build it), Run, then ⋯ → Export to CSV. Add the Story Points, Iteration Path, Area Path, Created Date and Closed Date columns.
SELECT [System.Id], [System.WorkItemType], [System.Title], [System.State], [System.IterationPath], [System.AreaPath], [Microsoft.VSTS.Scheduling.StoryPoints], [System.CreatedDate], [Microsoft.VSTS.Common.ClosedDate]
FROM WorkItems
WHERE [System.TeamProject] = @project
AND [System.WorkItemType] IN ('User Story', 'Bug', 'Task')
AND [System.IterationPath] UNDER @project
AND [System.ChangedDate] >= @today - 180
ORDER BY [System.IterationPath]Then open ReportInSite, go to the Data tab, choose Export from any app, pick Sprint reports from a work-item query and load the file. The recipe fills in the column mapping and the calculation; you can change any of it before importing.
What you get
This recipe feeds Sprint review + Delivery metrics. It rolls into the steering scorecard, the portfolio roll-up, trends and the PDF packs alongside every other source.
- Sprint reviewCommitted vs delivered, scope change bridge, velocity and run chart for each sprint in the file.
- Steering scorecardDelivery metrics (velocity, commitment ratio and more) calculate from the sprints and are scored against target.
- Portfolio roll-upEvery team side by side on the heatmap, whichever tool each one uses.
