Work Item Age report from any tracker

Report on work item age (in-progress items) from a tracker export, measured on the day you export and scored against your own target. ReportInSite runs in your browser, so the file is read on your device and nothing is uploaded.

How to export it

Export in-progress items with a start date: Azure DevOps Activated Date, Linear Started, Asana / ClickUp Start Date, or Jira Created (as an approximation).

WIQL (Azure DevOps example)

SELECT [System.Id], [System.AreaPath], [Microsoft.VSTS.Common.ActivatedDate] FROM WorkItems WHERE [System.TeamProject] = @project AND [System.State] = 'Active'

Then open ReportInSite, go to the Data tab, choose Export from any app, pick Work item age (in-progress items) and load the file. The recipe fills in the column mapping and the calculation; you can change any of it before importing.

This recipe feeds Flow › Work Item Age. It rolls into the steering scorecard, the portfolio roll-up, trends and the PDF packs alongside every other source.
